My SE HB piezo came with PRS 10’s. When replacing I’ve tried DR, PRS, and D’Addario, all 10’s. The PRS is always louder and plays heavier - I get used to the PRS strings and I can hardly play the others, although the DR and D’Addario are way easier to bend.
What gives? And I’m not complaining, just curious why the difference. It’s been a repeatable experience so I imagine others have noticed?
