PRS CE DW Hardtail Volume Drop

Hi all,
Purchased a CE DW and noticed a huge volume drop in selector position 2 and 4. Anyone have this who can confirm if normal?

Try spraying some deoxit into the pickup selector switch

The electronics used on CE/S2/SE seem a bit notorious for rapid oxidation in my experience (and what I've seen online too)

There will be a volume drop as position 2 is a full humbucker and a split bucker in parallel. Even more drop in position 4 as both coils are split. Nature of the beast. Drastic however...shouldnt be to the point you cant hear the guitar.

Thanks for the replies. I'd say volume is cut by 50 to 60% almost sound like the treble pickup doesn't engage in 2/4 but the single coil bass does. Tried the Deoxit but to no avail. Maybe an issue in the wiring. I was watching the demos of the guitar online and the volume doesn't drop out for other so drastically on 2 & 4 as they cycle through the pickup configurations.
