Hi guys,

I need a little advice.

I have a 2006 ce24, but the previous owner swapped out the pickups. Shame on him.

I now have acces to dimarzio humbuckers, so i would gladly hear some suggestions for both neck and bridge positions.

I know things are getting fairly impossible right now, but i have a specific sound and need in my head, that maybe is not achievable.

I want the neck humbucker to be like a PAF - vintage, low output, round and creamy sounding without getting muffled, basically to have a 24 fret LesPaul. I mostly split the neck humbucker.

The bridge i want for higher gain, lead sound- with balanced eq, no harsh highs, no boomy lows, powerful, but not overwhelming output.
And in the split middle position to sound like a strat

Easypeasy

I know I want a lot, but I am downsizing my gear and trying to get in the realms of 'less gear suited for more versatile applications'-i know, jack of all trades master of none is not the best approach, but desperate times ask for desperate measures...

Any suggestion and help will be greatly appreciated !

cheers guys and girls

Honestly for what what you are looking for, I would suggest the Dimarzio PAF 36th. They are great sounding pickups all around.

The 36th is a good pup. I'm not really a Dimarzio guy or anti Dimarzio either but thats one I'd go with. I always end up with Seymour Duncan instead of Dimarzio.

As others already said the PAF 36th is a solid choice. I had a pair on a guitar . I did not have any problems with the bridge pickup output, but if you want a little extra power there is also the PAF Master.

Thank You all for your help, I really appreciate it. Most likely it is going to be a 36th paf/at-1 or a norton/air classic combo.

Cheers guys, thanks again!
