Hi guys

Thought I'd start a new thread to make it easier to find for anybody interested.

I recorded a short demo of each pickup setting (9 in all), both clean and dirty. Not great playing, and since my amp seems to be malfunctioning I used amplitube 3. It should illustrate the different tones, though.

The comments explain which pickups are used in each section, but basically it is going from bridge to neck successively, with each splittable pickup going first humbucker then single coil in each of the positions where that is possible (i.e., not middle only position). Hope this makes sense.

I really dig the SC bridge tone and the middle. Nice and full and does not get thin sounding like so many guitars do in that position. (SC bridge) NICE!! Thanks for taking the time to make and post the sound clips. I love listening to sound clips!

Thanks guys. Wasn't too much work - only took about 10 minutes all in all If there's anything else you'd like demoed, let me know - I think it's fun to do stuff like this. I can also provide the raw files for anybody wanting to play around with amplitube or re-amping - you know, hear the stuff on equipment you're used to.


Yeah, I could see myself using all these pickup positions and combinations for something or other. Dig it!
