Prs archon 50 head hard rock tone!

Hi!

I just bought this head and the eq is really sensitive so i cant find a good hard rock tone.

Im not into metal. I want a puncht, creamy sustained hard rock style sound with no fizz.

Can you please post your setting if you think you found it!

This amp sound great, i am just stiil looking for the sound in my head but its near!

Sorry, I don’t have settings to share, but I always post this video when someone is looking into the Archon to show that it is not a one trick pony. Hopefully, @DreamTheaterRules , @vchizzle and @boardn10 will pop in and share their thoughts.

I don't do anything particularly extreme with the settings, but one thing that ought to be asked is what cab are you using? I tend to use an older MESA cab, but there's no reason why it can't work out with other well-built closed back cabinet with some good speakers.

Thanks. If you want to share your setting, it will be great. I use the 1-12 prs tremonti cab with vintage 30 for now!
