Stumbled across this listing for a handful of recently built PRS CAD amps. PRSh hand written note mentions "2015 mods"...what are those? And now both Warren and Carlos are playing Original Sewells? Thats news to me, but this brings up another question...why has the factory been so quiet about the new products, other than the anniversary guitars?

It's too quiet around here!! Where's the marketing grapevine speculation and the typical gossip? I'm bored and need some dish!

Good question, Kerry!

I'm guessing that lots of interesting things are in the works. I'm actually in process on a switch from the HXDA 50 to the 30 Watt version. It's not a volume thing, more of a subtle bass response thing I think might be happening.

I've been holding off on ordering a HX/DA 30 expecting PRS to announce some sort of ground shaking info on a new amp to kill them all. Tick tock, tick tock........

I hear you Boogie. I have been thinking the same thing. JPHoush, you are not alone. Myself and a buddy of mine are thinking and doing the same thing as you. C'mon PRS give us some scoop.

I'm definitely in a position that i can do that, since the DG30 is a great amp, and very versatile for my work. I do love the HXDA platform, though, so there's that.

Did anyone follow that link and checkout the other amps they have for sale? Maybe the core line - if you can call it that - will only get tweaks? Thats ok with me because, honestly, it's going to be tough to improve on these. IMO, the tweaks would be very subjective "improvements". Still, I'd be interested in knowing what they entail.

And just as an aside, that's the first new Super Dallas I've seen in a couple of years.

They also had a couple of Blue Sierras, haven't seen one of those in a while either. And Brian's guitars has some 25th Anniversary heads with dragon facings and 2015 mods.

I think leading up to, and especially this year, PRS at NAMM was primarily for the dealers (which, I guess is what the show is for). Most of their press from the show was for things that were already out. Which is fair, especially without Experience in 2014, they've just been releasing things when the time is right. As far as unnanounced gear goes, NAMM was basically a chance for the dealers to check out what's in the works, and probably put some orders in so they can be ready for the official releases (ahem V*la...)

WO Nelly !!!! That is heavy Boogie. If they offer that amp, I am done. Will order today. In fact, when I get through with this post I will call my dealer. ,

They're not new models. I think they're NOS.

But that wouldn't stop me from buying one if they have the right stuff in 'em.

Not too far from me. Maybe worth a 20 minute drive (assuming he's open to that) to check it out...

I like his site in any case....

In Nashville at the moment though, so I'll have to console myself for the next few days with listening to "real musicians". Man, this would be a tough town to try to gig in. The kid on the corner with his guitar case open for tips has more talent in his little finger than I'll ever have...

Yeah, there's thirteen hundred and fifty-two

In all seriousness, yep. There was some poorly dressed guy with one of those amp-built-in-the-guitar things and was shredding R&B, funk and Van Halen in one long montage...sitting on the sidewalk. I didn't pick up a guitar for a week!

Maybe he should have pressed PRS for an endorsement?

Walking into the Nashville GC is an experience. Instead of the usual onslaught of bad out of tune sludge, it sounds like graduation day at the Berkeley School of Music!

After a lot of thought, I'm going to stick with the HXDA platform, but go with the 30 Watt.
