I find myself wanting to put an adjustable bridge on my SE Bernie Marsden. It's mainly a tactile thing; I'm used to Tune-o-matics, and the regular wraparound bridge just doesn't feel quite right to me. Both of my USA PRSes have the PRS adjustable wraparound bridge, and those are great but a bit pricey. I've seen several folks here who really like the John Mann 2300 adjustable wraparound bridge, but they aren't exactly cheap either. OTOH, I've not seen many references to the Gotoh 510 wraparound bridge here, but they look interesting and won't break the bank.

Is the Mann adjustable wraparound really that much better than the Gotoh? Any other alternatives I should be looking at?

I can tell you that the Mann 2300 is the real deal. I have no experience with the Gotoh. If I were doing it all again, and I was being conscious of my budget, I would save up for the Mann just because of the word of mouth going on here, and his reputation for making top end products.

I'm guessing the gotoh is cast for that price, the Mann bridge is machined from a solid block.
I have a Mann and they are definitely worth it. Also the PRS wraparound is hollowed out to accept the piezo components

I am in Club2300, and IMO it's worth every penny. It's very substantial-feeling, very comfy to palm-mute on as well. The difference in sustain is considerable - and I upgraded from a USA PRS bridge. I feel like I am doing a Guitar Vault commercial or something, but John and Roxanne are awesome to deal with as well.

I think you're looking at the difference between "OK" and "Great" here. My 2c...go for great!
