I have a 2020 CE24. I love the guitar but I'm still insure about the 85/15 pickups. I've messed with height from super close to factory settings and still mot fully sold.

I tend to like a medium to lowish output brigde with lot of clarity with a bit of thickness in the mids and tight bass and not too much top end (I play most lead on the bridge and a warm but clear neck that Use mostly for a cleanish tone. I mostly play Leprous, Opeth, Karnivool, APC, Soen, Porcupine Tree style music (mostly prog with lots of different tones) through a Friedman JEL on the JCM800 setting.

I've seen so many mixed reviews of PRS pickups so I'm a bit iffy on pulling the trigger and the closest store that may have PRS guitars on hand it about 2 hours away, but I loved the Polymaths in a Strandberg I use to have though it was a 7 string.

What are your thoughts?

The 57/08 & 59/09 combination should give you what you want. The tone of the 59/09 in the bridge is exactly as you described it. I have various PRS combinations in several guitars, and think the 59/09 is an outstanding bridge pickup. Keep in mind that all of the PRS pickups do have very different sounds, and no pickup does everything. Most of my PRS have PRS pickups. The exceptions are a DC3 with noiseless Dimarzio single coils and an Se One with a Lindy Fralin noiseless P-90. My humbucker guitars have only PRS pickups because I like the sounds.

I agree with this. I have a 2023 CE 24 with two 57/08 pups and a 2016 McCarty 594 with two 59/09. I think a 57/08 neck and 59/09 bridge combo would hit the ultimate sweet spot. I may have to try a swap on the bridge of these two guitars to test it out.
