I was browsing the PRS website for some info on the 408. I noticed that the trem was the only option on the bridge per spec section.

Did PRS stop making production models of the stop tail bridge on the 408?

I forgot when they stopped offering the stoptail on that model. It was trem-only in the 2015 catalog as well.

Paul Smith seems to have a saying: if we stop buying them, they stop making them.

They dropped it *just* as I wanted to order one around this time last year.
Hopefully more people will keep asking and they'll bring it back as I still have an itch for one :)

Ditto Mark, while the PRS trem has been growing on me recently, the stoptail is still my favorite. Getting harder and harder to find, I don't think it's offered on the Custom 22 anymore either.

Not to be a contrarian, but I really dug the trem 408 I had; probably even more than the stoptail Sig Ltd.

It was Old Antique Natural, and one of the guys on VR bought it. Great instrument.

Seems like the stop tail has been gone for a while :(

Thanks everyone for the helpful replies!
