Hello everyone.
It Is My first post in the forum, not if here is the right place for my question.
I write from Barcelona and my English is not very correct, forgive me.
I Have a PRS since 1992. The model is: t. o. ce3
Visiting the official website, I saw the article in the history of this brand and the models through the years, but my question is that they mean these acronyms of my guitar.
For now I can not put photos because I am new, but try to reproduce what is on the label:

#Serial: 213XXX
#Model: t. o. ce 3 (I Don't know if "o " is letter or number).
Assembled by: KMS
Final Ck By: TS
SP Package:
SP Order:
Gold HDWE.

PICKUPS
Treble:
HFS
Bass: Vintage
Date: 24 Mar 92

Can Someone help me know what model I have?
What Do the letters T. O. CE 3 mean?

I thank you in advance.

 Have a lot of Luck in their lives!!!

IIius,

Hola!

Hello! My Castilian Spanish is from high school, so please forgive my poor translation. The t.o.ce3 is interesting, although I have not read or heard of it before. My suggestion is that you keep posting on this forum until you have reached 10 posts.

Then you will be able to use a free image-hosting website to upload your images of your guitar. Other people on this forum will then help you identify your guitar model more easily.

The designations below your model number (t.o.ce3) are factory notes of who assembled and inspected the guitar, as well as the special order notation for gold hardware. When your post count reaches 10, you can post images of your guitar for better identification.

I thank my iTranslate phone app in helping me with these phrases. If and when more can identify your guitar, my phone app can translate your findings for you. We look forward to more of your posts!

Its difficult from the information. I can't think of any guitar with that model name.

If you can't post pictures yet, can you tell me if the neck is bolted on or a set neck? does it have 22 or 24 frets? Does it have 3 or 2 pick-ups?

Bienvenidos ... o tal vez debo decir Benvingut!

Translation:

Welcome ... or maybe I should say it in Catalan. As you are from Barcelona you may speak that language.

As they said above, there is no model t.o.ce3. There is a CE3 model. If you have a set neck guitar it is not a CE3 and in that year the CE3 did not yet exist. We need photos.

I loved Barcelona but it has been many years since I was there.

That serial number is no good for any 1992 guitar.

You can host pictures on a site like imgur.com and share them. That will make it easy for us to tell the details.

Hello, again.

The guitar not is very rare because I've seen similar pictures.
It has 24 frets have birds on the neck
Two pick-up
The neck and Body is one piece.
The serial number is 213XXX (the X is numbers).
Vol. Tone. Rotary switch.
Tremolo.
????

I put the label on my avatar but it is very small.
I thought that if any member gives me his e-mail I can send the photos and put them in the forum.
My e-Mail is: [email protected]

Thanks AP515 by the "Benvingut", No es troba molta gent parlan catala en els foros americans...
If I am catalan (Catalonia is not Spain)
Our language is little known and also Spaniards do not like.
We are in the year 2019 and some of them believe to be in the 1900...

As this is a 24 fret set neck, I am almost certain its a Custom 24 with the rotary switch. The '2' of the serial number is representing the year and the 13XXX referring to to the 13,000 models made since 1985. They are up to over 260,000 now so 13000 in the first 7yrs is possible.

Everything you describe is pointing more to the Custom 24 (maybe a Standard 24 - were they made back then?). The Rotary switch, 24 frets, set neck (not a bolt on), made in 92 and double Humbuckers with a tremolo does describe an older Custom 24 to me...

Until I see pictures of the guitar, inc the back of the headstock - no need to see the heel joint as its not a bolt-on but no harm in showing us everything, I can only make an educated guess with some degree of uncertainty (mostly coming from the tag you have in your profile pic). You have basically described a Custom 24 - does the top have a flame maple cap or is it all mahogany?

M'alegra saber que ets català. Jo estava a Barcelona el 1980 per dia catalunià i van tenir el refrany "Soms catala, sense Soms espanols " fins i tot llavors.

Translation:

Glad to know you are Catalan. I was in Barcelona in 1980 for Catalunia day and they had the saying "We are Catalan, not Spanish" even then.

I think your guitar is a Cu24. Like has been said, maybe a special order. Birds, set neck, 5 way rotary switch seems to say Cu24 to me. Could also be a Standard. We will have to wait for the pics to be sure.

Definitely not a CE model. If it has a maple top, it is a Custom. If it is all mahogany, it is a Standard.

2 13XXX makes sense for 1992. 2 for the year and 13000 is within the correct approximate range for the year.

There wasn't much of a tracking system back then. Sometimes you can learn more by removing the pickups to see what is written on the the wood below.
