Hi guys how’s it’s going? I just got my CE22 a few weeks ago. While I love the feel of the guitar I have had nothing but problems with the setup. PRS was very helpful the few times I called. So far I have everything f set where I like it and it feels the best. Except the intonation when I got it it was set up with 9-42 strings.
I moved it up to 10-46 but for the life of me I can’t get the low E to intonate. It keeps reading sharp and it as far back as it will go. I’ve cut the spring in half for more movement but it’s still reading sharp.
The saddle is so far back the corner is hitting on The rounded part of the bridge plate. I have tried everything I can think of even went through 3 sets of strings.
My setup is bridge is 1/16 of the body all the way around. String height is 5/64 on bass and 1/16 on the treble side at the 12th fret. The neck relief is .007 I tune down half a step.
Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try running it thru the whole travel , and press lightly and give the trem arm a good wiggle.
Also do the adjustment in the normal seated position.
It will come in.

I had a similar issue with my Cu22 when I moved to drop C and fitted heavier gauge strings - couldn’t get the low E saddle back far enough for it to intonate properly. I got round the issue by removing the small spring from the intonation screw and that let me get the saddle where it needed to be.
