Unholy carp, that thing is gorgeous, and quite possibly perfect for me. I'm unfamiliar with black limba as a tonewood -- where does it fall in the mahogany-maple range (especially neck)? I'm more of a swamp ash body/maple neck guy.

I love that bridge -- quite frankly, my favourite bridge for a solid body guitar ever, but I only have it on my Holcomb 6 and 277.

Black Limba sounds more like Mahogany. That being said I’ve always thought it’s a bit more present in the mids than Mahogany.

Thanks, Brian! That was exactly the sort of answer/description I was looking for.

I'm not a wood scientist but black limba is known as Korina
