I just spoke with my Private Stock dealer. He told me the same thing - something big is in the works over in that department, which he couldn't share. He did tell me that partially due to this, there is an even larger back order and my PS order from May of 2023 was currently slated to be done by around February now. Its killing me!

Currently no PRS guitars in my arsenal - just my clunky old Les Paul with the awful baseball bat neck, which I keep purely for sentimental reasons - and it is becoming extremely difficult to keep the mouse off the BUY NOW button on Reverb for a number of PRS guitars! I sold off all of mine to fund the PS, but I keep finding ways to justify the need for a hardtail singlecut PRS to accompany my private stock semi hollow custom 24 tremolo. Gotta cover all sonic (and sustain) territory, ya know? Then there is the aesthetic - my private stock will be blue, so I need an orange or yellow guitar to compliment that.

@c340 I heard something similar, though it less detail, my PS Dealer. I have a Dec 2023 build which was originally planned to be done October/November 2024. We fielded some last minute questions about it in Aug, but when I reached out to them last week they indicated PS was booked for "something special" and it was unclear on how it would impact my build timing. At this point, I am just hoping to get it before the end of the year though I have not received any updated timing.
