;-) <excited smile> That's a commissioning pennant for a US Navy warship - every ship flies one 24/7 for its entire commissioned service.
I used to want a black top with a natural back, but instead, I think I want the back to look like this, with the "dog hair" finish and a natural neck.
Santana pic is just awesome. Both subjects. Doghair back. Superb. Tiger Eye quilt burst SC. Outstanding.
Really? That's awesome, but where does it fly? I've probably faced aft, saluted, and requested to come aboard ~ 300 times (half of those even sober!) and don't remember ever seeing one?
Thanks Roy - exactly ;-) harder to see the subtle red coral purfling around the headstock and neck - gonna be amazing!!
I looked @ all the pics in my Cruisebook, and can't see anything. Then again, the uber-grainy b&w pics from 1996 don't have a lot of detail, and no one focused way up there anyway! Gonna' be an awesome PS, congrats!
I discovered an easy solution to that -- every guitar I buy cost a little over $1,200.00 Of course you have to borrow from Bill Clinton to determine "what a little over" is, as -- per Bill -- it all depends on what your definition of the word "is" is. I'm in the early stages of working with a dealer to order a PS. I suspect the final price on it will be a little over $1,200.00, so that SWMBO will be ok.
I'm confused by this. Will those holes be filled in, or is this a natural semi-hollow? it would seem as if the holes would chip away over time?
