This is a VERY cool video:
Private Stock #6519
McCarty 594 Single Cut
I don't understand, the pic and the link aren't the same guitar!
No, but the shell top reminds me of Zemaitis’. That PS appears to be very one-off.
mmm Apple pie and caramel sauce! (Deliriously low carb at the moment)
I was hoping you weren't going to start a thread with Show us your Privates...
I would like paua purfling.
Sure, how thick?
At the shop:
My favorite version of my favorite inlays. From that wonderful run of musical art called the Collection Series.
How about some Northern Lights ?
Note: I no longer have this one as I switched to a CU24 Wood Library also finished in NL.
Saw that yesterday and didn't even realize before then that the inlays on the SC were airbrushed (makes complete sense now and is quite obvious when you see the unfinished scrap piece shown in the video).
Best Private Stock inlays ever IMO for a PS 594!
And word is they aren’t doing them anymore out of MOP.
Oh no, bummer! I was planning on doing those for my next 594 build.
Maybe I will have to do them in another material...
Thanks for confirming.
Collection Series Custom 24. In Elvish the inlays say “Don’t try this at home if you value your eyesight”.
Alright, I wanted to post mine for a long time (I own it since September 2019). Ladies (?) and Gentlemen: Here is PS No. 7981:
in the sunlight...but quickly take her out of the sunlight!... ;-)
and together with my 513 which I always thought was a beauty in its own, but which pales compared to the PS:
and from the back:
It plays beautifully and is hands down my best guitar!
Whoa!! I wondered where that guitar ended up....it's on my top 3 ALL time guitars that I've played.
I can't see the pics
