Private Stock Friday

I'm sure you guys know this already, but trying to photograph details on a PRS is difficult because the surfaces are so reflective. It's hard keeping my mug out of the reflections.

Ain't that the truth! I pointed my new phone at a 594 last night, previewed the picture, saw the apparition in the pickup covers, and deleted that picture posthaste!

Hey guys! Finally got my PRS Private Stock Modern Eagle V in Blue Slate Glow ! Check it out this beauty!!! More photos here - http://ladkorguitars.com/item/2019-...blue-slate-glow-brazilian-rosewood-new-id1451

I freaking love that! I feel like I say that about every MEV that gets posted lately!

The depth of the curl with this color, especially with a glow finish is fantastic - as (always) are your studio pictures Ladkor!

Hey everyone! First post here. Newly converted PRS guy after years of playing the big two and just returned from the factory tour as well!

It is my absolute privilege to own this Private Stock #7851 Santana II Semi-Hollow that The Music Zoo spec'ed up:

The Santana is my favorite model and the guitar that made me fall in love with PRS guitars, and Carlos is also my favorite player since I first heard "Smooth" in high school, so it is truly an honor to own this beauty.

To my ears, the chambered mahogany body is more for weight-relief than anything else - it sounds pretty close to my other two Santanas. The Satin finished top feels great and the RW neck with the Santana carve is just killer (most of his personal guitars are spec'ed up with RW necks). I've never played a Cocobolo fingerboard before and I might say rosewood sounds better to my ear, but of course it was a perfect choice for this guitar looks-wise with the Smoked McCarty Burst. Awesome guitar!

Way to make an entrance! Welcome to the forum. Absolutely love your Santana. My favorite, as well. That back is outstanding!

Does that VY 594 have a different shade of gold hardware, rose gold maybe, or is it just me?

Orange glow smokeburst. Probably my all time favorite!
