I’ve been looking for a DGT for quite a while, and I love a PRS with some scuff marks because I can gig it more easily.

Recently this one popped up for sale kinda close by and it’s picked my interest. But it’s been on the road A LOT and the price is way too high right now IMO.

I do have kind of an idea about what I’d like to spend on it but I’d love to hear everyone’s opinion.

Do consider that we’re talking europe where these guitars are somewhat rare and pricier.

Thanks!

I have no knowledge of your local market, but that does seem high. I would say a good condition recent model could get that price. I would reach out with an offer and ask them to keep you in mind if they don’t get the asking price.

I checked two pricelists of 2010, the US and a German.
That particular model had a retail price of 4,138 USD. But according to the at that time lower worth of the USD, it was announced for 2,998 EUR (incl. 19% VAT in Germany). It's a DGT w/o any extras for extra charge. No birds, no 10-Top.
That said, I assess the price of the offer very much too high. Look at the very visible wear on the back, the edges of the headstock etc.
Personally I wouldn't spend more than 2,000 EUR for that guitar, more likely 1,000-1,500 EUR.
Under normal conditions a used guitar should be priced 40-60% below the new price.
Exceptions: A guitar played and owned by a celebrity or the Holy Grail of guitars.

Hard Pass At That Price Or Anything Close To It.

Well, there is no friggin way a DGT will be offered in Europe anywhere south of 2k EUR. We old world 6 string warriors are not so lucky.

However 3300 is beyond overpriced.

Yes, the pity is, that used/second hand PRS are overprized at all. Have a look at 25k USD 513 PS, which are unsold since 2007 and 2010.

I think all things considered 2.5 k would be a very good price. Do you agree?

The wear on the back does seem very extensive, which bothers me a bit, tho the top looks relatively clean.
