Pretty cool Mayer "rig rundown" - PRS Content

I've never logged in to this instagram thing, so I count on the kids uploading anything that happens there to YouTube for me.. haha. But this just popped up in my feed and I thought it was very cool. Where to begin? Rene Martinez.... the guitars..... the insane pedal rig..... the PRS Strat looking thing... Regardless of the artist I love these glimpses into the world "behind the scenes" if you will.

yeah Ive been watching a few of these behind the scenes rig rundowns. the one with Johnny Lang was good. he seems like a really down to earth kind of guy too.

Yep I saw that one. I saw him live maybe 12 years ago and he tore the place down. I was impressed.
The other series I've found really fascinating is Zac Childs' Trutone Lounge series. Very interesting interviews with Nashville area session and tour players.

Jonny Lang, that tone, man, kid sounded seventy when he was only seventeen. Caught him at Bumbershoot in 2000 or 2001, man that was a great show.
