Presenceknob 2 Channel custom 50 not working?

Hi there,

My precenceknob on my custom 50 doesnt do anything. I just got the amp and I didnt test te knob (stupid I know).

The bass boost pull out does work.

Any idea what it could be? The amp sounds like its somewhere in a neutral position, not hars, not muddy... strange.... Anyway, before i take it to a repairman maybe somebody has an idea?

Mine is similar - only changes the tone past 3:00, below that doesn't do anything. But it has all the range I need, so I go with it.

I would ask what guitar, cable, and what else (pedals etc.) is plugged in before the amp. Mine is subtle, but certainly works through the whole range. The brighter the guitar you plug in front of it, the more noticeable it is. It works, it's just not radical like it is on say my Mesa amps.

Thanks guys, I turned the amp up and played a bright guitar. Its very subtle indeed.
