Yeah, you heard it here first. My singer also sings every week at church in their praise band. And, she was talking to them about the person who usually plays electric guitar. And, well, they want me to come to one of their rehearsals on the 16th (WAAAAYYYY early in the morning I might add).

Now, I can absolutely say that that is NOT my favorite style of music. But, I am looking at it like this. I will have at least one rehearsal and one time to play out every week. And every time I pick up my guitar, no matter the "style" of music I am playing, it is a lesson in the mechanics of playing. So, I may have to do it as I could certainly use the practice.

Just be careful if they take you near what appears to be a small indoor swimming pool. :D:D

I'm just hoping lightning doesn't strike the building as soon as I walk in there!

I've walked through Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral, and they're still standing.

All you need is verb, delay, and lots of add9 chords.

It’s music that sets a mood for thought and reflection. Consider it your opportunity to serve another human being by putting them into a more contemplative, peaceful, and spiritual place. It’s quite an honor.

Sadly true. All the worship guys sound the same now. They have what I call "protestant church standard" sound.

There may be a lot of surprised Brits if and when I make my second coming. To London, that is. (Gotta stick with attainable goals.)

    Ha, you haven’t heard me!

Actually, we don’t do much of that kind of music at our church

Based on my experience playing in church, i play to serve the song and ambiance to encourage worshippers.
