My Artist 22 needs a new volume pot.

My '89 CE24 needs volume and tone.

What's the smoothest, bestest pots a fella can buy to make sure his PRSi feel loved and pampered?

500k
I like the rs guitarworks Spec cts
Or just hit the PRs accessory shop

Bournes have the least damping. Personally I don't like them because they rotate too freely and it's too easy to accidentally turn them.

Thanks.

Some smooth turning and even tapering of volume or tone would be optimal.

How about a NOS 5 way rotary. The blue wafers from early on.
Are those a good switch ?

Yep if you want a rotary 5 way switch

Thanks for the tip on Mann for parts Garrett, he had the nut I needed

I have the 5 way PCB board switch in my Artist.

Yesterday I grabbed a blue wafer one as a spare. It's just like the one in my '89 CE.
Think I'm gonna order some RS Superpots for Vol. And that audio tape for tone.

John is the dude!

For a rotary, I'd just grab the four-pole 5-way from StewMac. I don't even want to know how much an NOS PRS-branded rotary goes for.
Yeah bought a replacement trem from him for my custom 22. Great stuff
