Potential Mods

I just bought a gorgeous S2 mcartey 594. However, I'm the kinda guy who loves to put tremolos on all his guitars, but this guitar is so nice, I was wondering if it would be sacrilegious to mod this guitar. If I were to, I'd put on locking tuners, and a deusenberg les trem.

I wouldn't, because the two piece fixed bridge is a big part of the tone of the guitar. But SamIV is right, it's your guitar to enjoy any way you choose!

Exactly. It's your guitar Go for it. If you don't like the duesenberg it's easily reversible.
