Thanks to @d^rren for noticing the "Media" tab along the main navigation at top regarding posting pictures on the PRS Forum. If this continues in it's current form, you should be able to upload your pix here directly to the forum without a 3rd party. I am doing some further testing to flush out details, but this is big for a lot of people (including self who has spent many hours helping others figure out how to post their pix)!!

Click on this thumbnail to see the what the "Media" page for a pictures entry looks like and where you get these different links from. The links you will need are in the lower right corner of a page similar to this!

This item was posted using the image link.
To use the image link, hit the Image icon in the post choices, it is between the paper clip and smiley face.
Clicking on it will display it at it's natural size and show other images linked with this and the image link codes (unless someone has wrapped it in a URL link to something else).

This image was posted using the image BB code.
It can be pasted directly in the content of the post.
It has the same result at using the image link, but it is one less click so it is the fastest option for a single picture.

This image was posted using the URL BB code with thumbnail.
It can be pasted directly in the content of the post.
As you can see, this version by default takes a non square image and cuts it off for the thumbnail square view.
You CAN adjust the height and width of the thumbnail you would like to display but I did not do that here so you can see what the default values would do (300x300 pixels is default).
When you click on the image, you see the full width.
You are also then looking at a "Media" page for that image which also has the link to that image in the lower right corner of the page.
It will also show you other members of the gallery that picture belongs to.

This image was posted using the GALLERY BB code.
It can be pasted directly in the content of the post.
This will show you some details on the "Gallery" that this folder is part of.
If you click on the image, it takes you to the gallery that it is a member of.
You are also then looking at a "Media" page for that image which also has the link to that image in the lower right corner of the page.
It will also show you other members of that gallery.

Ba ba ba ba, I'm lovin' it! Sorry, but I edited this post. Moved the stuff in here to first post! Feel free to remove any likes ;~))

I will put together a tutorial this weekend to walk the less digitally inclined through this process, but it is going to make a lot of lives a lot easier ;~))
You da man MDW!

NOT ME! @d^rren found this!! I am just the messenger ;~)) There is a LOT of functionality here including being able to set up groups that can look at your pictures where others can not see them. This is huge if it remains intact ;~))
Well good old saying definitely applies...
Don't shoot the messenger!:)

So basic gist here is, you still can not upload pix directly to the post you are composing, but you can upload pix to a "Gallery" or "Folder" here on the sites "Media" section, and from there you can put links in your post to show those pictures. The big deal here is, you will no longer need to go out and find your preferred third party solution to "host" your pictures and will instead be able to upload them here and then link to them. I will do a tutorial on this for those less inclined, but for now, know that some relief is on the way (and it is all available now if you are hip on how to use it)!!!
