Possible to add push pull coil split to core?

I just got a S2 Custom Semi-hollow (and love it) and am already Core 24 “window shopping”. I feel like the 24-08 version might be the way to go in terms of switching options, but, if I get the normal core with just the 5 way switch, is it easy enough to make the tone a push/pull and have that be a single coil switch like the S2 in addition to keeping the 5 way functioning as stock?

Yes, I believe you could replace the (standard) tone knob with a push-pull that grabs the middle/white wire (one or both pickups) and grounds it when pulled up, if that's what you're thinking. But really, the only additional settings it would give you is neck/bass single-coil and bridge/treble single-coil, if that's what you're looking for. (And when pulled up, the middle 3 positions of the 5-way switch would be identical.)

Prs used to offer that mod. They still might but it was add push pull to 5 way blade switching.

I believe it gave you single bridge, single neck and middle single setting.

I've always wanted to have it done

There is also a common mod where you make the push/pull split only the bridge pickup and do a little rework to get:

Pushed:
1. Bridge H
2. Bride H, neck S
3. Bridge H, neck H
4. Neck S
5. Neck H

Pulled:
1. Bridge S
2. Bridge S, neck S
3. Bridge S, neck H
4. *Neck S
5. *Neck H

I’ve posted the schematic for this before, but can dig it up again if you’re interested
