Possible NGD SE John Mayer SS?!!?

What do we know about the SE John Mayer Silver Sky? I’ve been offered an interesting trade deal for my Mesa MkV25 that includes a JM SE and enough cash to make the deal attractive.

I’ve heard good things, I haven’t played one yet. I’ve played a couple of squire strats a while back.

I have been thinking I “need” something Strat-ish. Thoughts?

I’ll update to a legit NSEJMSSD thread it the deal goes through.

They can be had for under 600 bucks from some shops...I guess it depends on cash offer...but yeah they're cool guitars...mark 25 is a usa made mesa....what else is in the trade??

I’ve had the mini mark listed for about 6 weeks. I’ve dropped the price a couple of times, and hoped to end up near $1200. Deal is $800 plus an old guy owned (lol, I’m 65 and saying that) SE SS JM. I think as long as the condition is excellent as advertised and I’m ok with the neck, it’s an ok deal. Unless I can’t stand the color.

So, I found a cash deal for the little Mesa, so no SE Silver Sky. The good news is that I don’t have to trade for cash and a guitar. The bad news - after researching the SE SS to see if I could do the trade, I now have a case of guitar jones that I didn’t have before. Oh well, first world struggles.

If you're jonesing for one got to davesguitar.com....they have lots of cheap ones...great to deal with as well! Look at some other prsi as well...the S2s are great and can be had at good prices as well!

Huge fan of my SS "core" but have never played a SE.
Would love to try one, especially a maple board.
