I changed strings and noticed the harmonics on the 5th fret G string are very dull. I really never tried it on the old set. Any ideas. Could it be setup related?

Down under, down under
Shouldn't be setup related, unless the harmonic is either side of the fret (you should be playing the harmonic directly above the fret).

How about 7th and 12th fret harmonics, no problem there? Could just be a dud string too...

Could be a bad set of strings. It happens. Change 'em again before you get too worried about having to "fix" the guitar.

Well I feel real stupid, After changing strings I still had the same problem. Called PRS they said short scale 24.5 could be string gauge. I went from 9s back to 10s. Still same problem. I turned the amp off and started looking over things. Played a little unplugged and the harmonics where fine. It ended up being the setting I had on my multi effects board. Turned off the little bit of flange I had on and problem solved.
