Pole Piece Alignment

Sorry if this has been asked before, first electric guitar. Noticed on my guitar that the strings rest on the left edge of the neck pups pole piece and on my bridge pups, high e on top of pole piece and low e is on the edge of the pole piece. Would it cause any issues? Thank you

It won't ever be off enough to be bad. They don't have to line up.

Alright thanks for the help, not familiar with these stuff so to my eyes something is wrong but it’s just cosmetic then it’s fine. Seems like it’s due to my bridge being off center judging from the center line of both pickups and where both halves of the top meet.

If it's brand new... bring her back. One of the beautiful things of PRS is that the polepieces are perfectly aligned with the strings. I always hated the Strat kind-a polepieces randomly positioned. When I saw the PRS it was beautiful to have perfectly aligned polepieces.
