There was a time (many moons ago) when I thought the original pointy headstock fell out of some Jetsons/50's time hole and didn't belong on an electric guitar. I've grown a lot since then. I cast my vote for pointy.

No contest for me. In my mind, the two things that always identified PRS for me were pointy headstock, and bird inlays.

I really dig the santana style but it has one serious problem... When you put vintage-style/kluson-style tuners on it, it's almost impossible to fit a snark tuner on it.

Also it decreases the space for PRSh to sign it, when I get a chance.

I'll swipe one off the used market one of these days. I'd love to meet the man himself ;)
If you live in Georgia he sometimes comes down to Righteous Guitars, big PRS dealer here in Ga, and he brings Brian Ewald with him and it super cool. You could bring your guitar too so it could get signed and have a small talk with him.
