I have been playing guitar for about 25 years. I have always loved the though of playing bass and finally bought one a couple weeks ago. Within a week I upgraded to a nicer one. I have 4 SEs in my collection of guitars and would love to get a bass if they ever produce them. I would like to get a 4 & 5 string.

Any chance they will be producing them in the near future?

I love playing bass as much or more than I do guitar, but I just don't lust after them in the same way as I do guitars. A PRS SE bass might be able to change that.

Another vote for an SE bass. Specifically, a fretless 5-string.
oh man!!! That sounds like money flying out of my wallet

I don't have any factual information, but I'm 99.9% sure it will happen at some point, and probably sooner rather than later.

I'm actually surprised they went to amps first before basses, but since they've done the amp thing and acoustics, it only makes sense. They must know there would be a demand and decent sales of them. Maybe then, and this is a bit further out of the realm of possible, would come the SE bass amps.

Just don't get into the drum business. Please. I would fear PRS would start going the way of Yamaha. (Which isn't all bad, I'm a big Yamaha fan.)

I'd buy at least one in a heartbeat - maybe I could convince my cheap ass bass player to get one too :)
