You’ll want to fix or replace the bridge post. Easy to do. The truss rod cover isn’t going to make much of a difference in value, and may be worth something to someone as it is.

Guitar Center has been selling rosewood neck McCartys used for about $2,500 recently, as a ballpark figure for you.
Is that ballpark for a 10 top?

They sold a 10-top one with an adjustable bridge for that last week. They have another listed for less right now.

Used guitars are highly subjective things. You might find someone who loves something in particular about your guitar and be willing to pay more than anyone else. If you want top-dollar, you may have to sit on it for a long time until that particular buyer finds your listing. If you want it to move sooner, you price it where someone will be tempted to buy something that maybe they weren’t specifically looking for.

I mention Guitar Center because they’ve got the largest inventory of used guitars and generally price things competitively. One of the advantages they offer is 45-day returns, which is hard to compete with as a private seller.

I appreciate that - and am well aware. Hubby bought and sold guitars for quite awhile over the years. While he was the officer in charge, I was right there and learned a lot about all of it. Not only subjective, but the market waxes and wanes generally. I'm pretty well versed on selling strategies and pitfalls. However, I posted here because I really wanted to know the nuts and bolts of what I have - he would have this in his brilliant mind, but that's no longer a resource for me, I guess you would say. I really do appreciate all the input...from everyone! I will say that I am also a player and was torn between keeping this one or my LP Standard. When all is said and done, I'm sticking with the Les. We bought this PRS to flip, but as soon as we opened the case, I said to him "you're never selling this one". I was right. But my Les has a story that's important to me, so that's why I made this decision.
