Well, at the invitation of Moondog Wily, I am sharing a 2013 performance of my Rush tribute band playing Freewill (assuming I can now post links!). I'm playing a 1997 CU22 stoptail. I also bring a 1995 CE24 and pretty much decide on the spot which one I will use as a main guitar for the night. I prefer the CU22 birds in low-light stages, but the CE usually cuts through a bit more clearly in the mix.

Dead nuts on! :D

I have to be in fighting trim to pull that one off, and I just noticed that I'm, er, not!

Thanks for all the kind words! Audience reactions are in short supply these days :).
Here is another clip: La Villa Strangiato with a different drummer. In this one I am using my 1990 CE3 (all-alder body).

what do you use for the es-355(?) stuff? does your geddy have the doubleneck?

For the most part, I use the PRS for everything, it's just more comfortable with all the bass pedal stuff I am doing. I have used a 335 on a few occasions but it felt a bit bulky and tended to feedback a lot in larger venues.
I swapped my Epiphone doubleneck for an older Ibanez for Xanadu. Our bass player has a 4/12 Starfire doubleneck for Xanadu and a 4/6 Fishbone Ric copy for A Passage to Bangkok, both cheap Chinese instruments.

Very very Nice Mr. Waves! You are off to a hell of a start on the forum!! Some good stuff. Absolutely love the double bass double guitar on Xanadu! Epic! Thanks for sharing! Keep 'em comin'!

Don't know if you guys ever do anything other than Rush, but there is a song that you may or may not know called "Thunderbuck Ram" by Mott The Hoople from their Mad Shadow album (1970). Fantastic hard rockin' song that I think you guys could do great with and would fit well with your music! Here is a link
. Very Rush like stuff IMO! Just a thought!
