Piezo issue when using wireless

I recently purchased a P24 custom and I’m having an issue. When I plug my wireless into the mixed input I get a consistent clicking. If I plug the wireless into the piezo input there is no clicking. If I use a cable on either input it works fine. If I remove the piezo battery(yes it’s new) the clicking doesn’t happen on either input with the wireless. I use my wireless system on many of my other PRS guitars with no issues. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I get a high pitched whine if I use a wireless in the piezo input of my SE HB II Piezo. I'm just assuming that the piezo does not like wireless.

Thanks. I already made sure I didn’t have any devices with me. I even tried it on different amps in a couple of different locations thinking there may be something strange with the power source.

That's weird. I have a P22 and a CU24 piezo and use 2 Line 6 wireless systems to run them into the amp and PA. I've never noticed a noise like you describe. Have you tried contacting PRS customer service?

I agree that something strange is going on. I plan to contact customer service, but I figured I would post here too. I have a couple different wireless systems. Maybe I’ll try another wireless system to see if the same thing happens. It’s definitely some kind of interference using the mixed input with the piezo battery in place. The clicking is almost metronome like and it maintains the same velocity. It’s like a click track. Bizarre.

What wireless model is it?
Line 6 G10 has problems because of the stereo style plug used for charging. Using a stereo to mono adaptor fixes that issue.
I’m currently using Boss WL-50. Now I’m thinking it is the wireless I’m using. The WL-50 works best with passive pickups. I have a couple different Line 6 wireless systems at my studio. I’m going to try one of those next week and see what happens.

Yup, that one has the stereo style plug as well. Try something with a mono plug.

The Famous Line 6 G10 and Xvive Audio 2 Not Compatible With Active Pickups?

For those wondering if the famous Xvive audio 2 and Line 6 G10 are compatible with active pickups, they are not. Although there are a few musicians who claim one or the other wireless system works for their active guitar, the manufacturers themselves said they are not compatible with active pickups. The majority of musicians who have tried the Xvive audio 2 and line 6 G10 with their active pickups claim either a high pitch squeal or hum.

I am using the Nux wireless and I also get a a high squel on MY HBII piezo.
There are a couple of (at least) Nux systems out there. If you are using the one with a stereo (TRS) plug, then they are the same architecture as the Line 6 G10, and will have the same issues, just as you are experiencing.

I used a TS mono adaptor and it appears to have solved the problem! Thank you everyone for your responses.
