Pickups -- bridge resistance vs. neck resistance

I forget -- which pickup do I want to put in the bridge position? I know I want the one with the higher output power, but how does that map to DC resistance -- do I want the higher of the two or the lower?

I've got one with 12.1 and the other with 8.2 (Benedetto A6 and PAF).

Usually, the higher resistance/winds/output one.

Yeah, I'm figuring higher resistance means longer length of wire, means higher output.
