I have a HB1 w/ a piezo. I never used the piezo (thought it sounded terrible) so I sent it in to get the pickups (archtop) replaced w/ 57/08s and a coil split and phase installed. They removed the piezo (my request) and did the mod. Also, as an added bonus, they set it up so I can choose either of the bridge single coils. I have to say, the 9 sounds I now have are all killer. I have not gigged with it yet, it came back from the factory only three days ago, but my fingers are sore. Worth every penny. As I sit here looking at the piezo electronics --two circuit boards w/ attached switches, wires, ribbons, and pots, it does not look like anything that should ever be in a guitar, but one might find instead in a computer.
