PICKUP # ?

one of my narrowfield pickups has a 2nd sticker on the back that says "rev-b". one of my 57/08 squabbin pickups also has a 2nd sticker that says "rev-c". what does this mean? are they reverse wound, reverse polarity, reverse-pole,or what? will they be out of phase if I put them in a 3 pickup configuration?
