I picked up a mint JH sig model last weekend, I love it in fact its one of the best PRS's I have owned or played this one I bonded with instantly, The pickups sound killer but the treble pup is not quite as punchy as I like with higher gain, I played with the pickup height on the treble and got it sounding much better but still not quite there.

Am I crazy to even think of swapping these out? And no I would never get rid of the JH pups I would carefully store them. I'm not a "chicken picker" I play classic to pretty hard rock. Here She is (a 10 top to boot) the neck profile is PERFECT on this PRS.

She's pretty! If the bridge pup isn't doing it for you, swap it out. I loved the combination on the one I had access to for a while. I agree with you on the neck. I don't remember the carve, but it was a great feeling neck.

I spoke too soon, I just raised the bridge pup to give it more ooomph, its still very clean but WOW it now sings and screams. I can say this is one of the best PRS guitars I have ever played and owned, it is absolutely phenominal, THE PERFECT GUITAR ever. I'm already looking for another and I have a bunch of nice guitars, its my new favorite and its a keeper. Going to sell a few of these....................https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/r/13/swvu.jpg
