Pickup Selector Noise

Okay, I've put up with this for a while, and before I try something more drastic than Contact Cleaner, I have two very expensive signature guitars that both have the same problem with noisy pickup selector switches.

I'm thinking some kind of solvent, like alcohol or nail polish remover directly to the contact points.

That Deoxit works like a charm if your only problem is corrosion. If you have a bad solder joint or switch, they will need to be replaced.

Just to be clear, are these rotary selectors? I assume so, but if not, the toggle style switch is very easy to clean and adjust.
