Pickup lead wires

I'm looking at buying a used 85/15 set, but the leads are a little short. If like to replace the 3 conductor with the same wire. Can anyone tell me where to find it? Also, anyone else replace leads before? I've done it on SDs with braided cable. Anything to watch out for?
