I have a 35th Ann. S2 Cu24 with 85/15s pickups, and mini switches. The SC vs. HB tones and volume difference are actually pretty decent... but I'm contemplating a pickup swap to 57/08, 59/09, or 85/15 and want to keep the mini switch function.

Are any of the above mentioned pickups coil tapped vs. coil split?

Yes they are. All 4 wire humbuckers are.

Most PRS pickups support coil splitting including all the ones you listed. The only exception I’ve seen is some hollowbody sets are straight up single conductor. The only PRS pickups I know of that have an actual tap are MT (Multi tap) style.

I assumed all 4 wire are coil split. The ones I see that are 3 conductor, are they cool tapped or just split?

3 wire and a shielded wire or is one of the wires shielded? The shielded wire or the shielding around a wire is a ground to the wire inside.

I'm referring to ones with a braided shielded wire and one extra wire.
