Picking up an Experience Custom 24...2011 or 2012?

I am lucky enough to have the option to choose one of these amazing guitars. The 2012 has the PRS experience pickups and the maple neck...but the 2011 just looks so sexy and has the old faithful 59/09 experience pickups. What do you guys think? HELP!:dontknow:

what is the pickup in the 2012? do you currently have any guitars with either pickup? Get the one that is not similar to what you already have. If you have neither, Umm...both!!!

Those are both super cool guitars.

The Exp 2012 pickup is a 53/10 with gold screws.

I think you'll find the 2012 is a brighter, snappier guitar leaning a tiny bit more towards single coil flavor, and the 2011 will be warmer sounding with hotter pickups.

I agree with this. I had a modern eagle Quatro with the 53/10's and it had a thinner tone and I have now an '11 experience cu24 and it is much hotter and warmer sounding with the 59/09's. Come down to which tonality suits your tastes.
