Pick-up Cover

Hey guys,
My custom 22 has HFS and Vintage Bass pickup..
can i put on some pickup cover on them ??
is it affect the sound ??

and can i put Gibson pickup cover or standard pickup cover on my PRS ??

You can put covers on it tends to darken the sound a bit mesure the pole pieces to get the right size

Differences are subtle. Has anyone removed their covers because a pair of zebras make a guitar sexier...?

Just in case it's any help to you, standard Seymour Duncan pickup covers are a perfect fit for USA PRS pickups.
