I just completed my first pickup change on my SE 245 and I know that the I moved the stoptail studs during installation. Any suggestions on making sure I get that height reset correctly and also on a starting point for the pickup height setting? Thanks in advance for the help!

Next time use blue painter tape on the bridge and studs to keep them from moving. Makes setup much easier.

In hindsight, that is a fabulous idea... unfortunately a little late for that!
Thanks for the info for sure!

    Have a look here - https://www.prsguitars.com/support/

There are instructions for setting action, as well as, pickup height. You can then always adjust the action more to you liking afterwards - same with the pickup height.

Locking bridge posts will prevent that from happening and make thebridge to post contact better

Well as it turns out I actually had a grounding issue that was causing most of the issues. So the mod is now complete with grover locking tuners, upgraded 920d LP50 wiring and pots, and SD Saturday Night Specials. Gibson tophats on the upgraded pots and guilford tigerwood PuP rings.
The pickups really changed up the tone of the guitar and I think it sounds great and looks good too... but then that's my opinion![IMG] [IMG]
Thanks for all the help with questions along the way!
