Normandy American Cemetery (edit: posted wrong photos) and Omaha Beach - Normandy, France.
Such a powerful and incredible sight, thankful I was able to visit in person.
A sincere thank you to all of those who paid the ultimate price.

You didn't go to Arlington when you came back east?

    Bummer.

John F. Kennedy's Eternal Flame, USMC Iwo Jima memorial and Arlington NS are all within walking distance. But there's also a tram that will take you, if you don't want to walk. Certainly worth the trip.

    Dundee Port -

Part of the Oil platforms that are in for re-fit.

Sunset on the Law Hill. Just loved how everyone else was dashing up the grass to capture the sun and they were all in silhouette against the sky -

The view as I got to the top of the Oak Ridges Moraine on yesterday's bike ride.
The moraine is where all the rocks small enough to be pushed by the glaciers of the last ice age ended up.
Just north of them, in the Holland Marsh is where all the top soil landed. That 50 or so square miles of deep, rich soil is where a large percentage of Ontario's vegetables are grown each year.

One of the hills on my ride today. A little over 300 vertical in under .5 miles. Awesome place to ride, beautiful hill country scenery, I can ride from my home, and you dodge more deer than cars.

The start of the climb at the bottom.

    Trek Emonda road bike.

It's pretty fun to bomb down it too.
