For you know who...

We had a pretty good snowfall Christmas morning, and quite a few house guests had to navigate through it - they were all COVID compliant and stayed outside.

This guy was just a ripple in the snow until his head popped up.

The cardinals have it all figured out.

This guy and his buddies might not have checked the menu before coming.

For a sense of size, the tree is about 25 years old and yields close to 1,000 peaches on a good year.

Caught something out of the corner of my eye out the window while relaxing earlier today. Grabbed the spotting scope and attached my camera phone (I really need to get a decent DSLR camera)

Red tailed hawk
He was about 50 yards out

Zoomed in, but I start losing clarity with my camera phone.

He busted you on that last pic!

He busted you on that last pic!

He was checking everything out. Up, down, all over the place. He just sat there, quiet as can be, just observing every little movement around him.
Amazing to watch.
He appeared to be a juvenile so maybe new to the hunting gig.

I stayed inside so not to disturb him, but with all my moving around, so yeah he spotted me a couple times.
