I've recently become a fan of sunrises. Views like this make my morning walks/jogs a lot more pleasant.

On Wednesday couple weeks ago, the ash cloud over the Bay Area was so thick that it literally turned day into night. One of my clients called it Ash Wednesday. It was actually the weirdest thing I've ever experienced. As the day went on it just got darker. These pics were taken outside my salon at 12:30 in the afternoon.

The streetlights never went off all day...

A funny thing happened on the way for a ride around the lake.
Both pairs of shoes and socks were bought independently while on opposite sides of the country.

When we finished pedaling, we got my wife's motorcycle ready for a spin. My daughter took it out.
