I'm not really into bling on my guitars, but I put the lampshades on my Hollowbody a while back. Then I came across a nice truss rod cover from a Canadian artisan/maker with a mother of pearl inlay eagle that just begs to match the bird inlays on the fretboard.
I think I may have just started back down that road I went with a couple custom motorcycles many years ago...

I think it will look right at home. Not that there is anything "wrong" with the stock piece...
