Pet peeve on the new tuners with the collars with 2 set screws...

EVERY new guitar I have purchased with them (usually Wood Library guItars) the dang collars are so frigging loose that the guitar goes all out of tune with heavy right hand playing, medium to heavy tremolo bar usage!!!

I end up taking my specialty Allen wrench pack and tighten them a LOT more with no string tension. Then it's great after that. Somebody got girly grip in the tuner department....

That is interesting. I haven't had that issue with any of mine. I may have to look at a few of them to see how many I have with the two screws. I think my OCD just kicked in...
It's just a pain in the wee arse.... Not not as much as sanding and polishing the satin outta this top!

I found that two of the guitars I have out right now have the two screw on the collar version of the tuners on them. One is my 594, that I have been playing for about 8 years, and my Studio, which I have been playing since November of last year, and I haven't had tuning issues with either of them. I am not sure if I just got lucky or if you may play with a lot more vigor than I do.
