Really - has it come to this?

You get the strangest looks at the Post Office when you announce you're giving 11" of love to a kid.

Locks of Love again. Thanks to Sammy Hagar cutting his hair on the Tonight Show years ago. This is something like five or six times for me.

Just have to be careful not to dislocate my elbow now brushing my hair - the resistance goes away much earlier!

You'd get weird looks merely mentioning that you have eleven inches of love at all, Mr. Wadd. Throw in the bit about wanting to give it to a kid, and you're lucky you weren't locked up, know what I mean? ;)

Cheers to that -- I've done something similar once or twice when I was younger...and gave my ponytail to an ex to (ahem) sever relations symbolically, but I only made that mistake once...

Locks of Love is a great cause. I don't think they care about hair color, considering it's going in a wig.

So cheers to literal hair farmers!

Fair play to you Alan and nice touch.
unfortunately some people are judgemental. I give an example.
I have given up a week a year for the last 8 yrs to help a disabled friend raise funds for save the children and help for heroes(ex service men down on their Luck) It's a shame but that's the way it is.
Here's a snap, him and myself at last yrs cup final. he is a very brave ex serviceman himself

God bless you for giving of yourself, I'm a veteran that served 4 yrs (22 months overseas) and after we come home we are sometimes brushed aside. I came back all in one piece, as you know some don't, beautiful thing you do there.
I had thought about teaching guitar to injured vets, still doing research on setting up a non-profit. Maybe it'll come to fruition.
