First full on rehearsal with the new HeadRush board. After the three hours we spent playing, everyone agreed that it is dialed in pretty close to how I sounded analog and with the HD500X. My drummer said that I didn't sound "processed" (but, of course, I am not using the amp and cab models. I am playing it in front of my Fender). I feel like this board upgrade was one of the best gear purchases I have made in a while. Fun stuff tonight too. This is probably the last full on rehearsal we will be able to get in before this coming weekend's gig at Dawson's Pub. And then that next weekend's trip into the studio to begin recording this album. We ran though these songs pretty freely and it felt more like being creative with the songs than it did "learning" them. I will keep you all posted as to the actual start of the recording project.

This pic below is the pure definition of a "GARAGE BAND".....lol. But Angela's dad owns the company, so the space is FREE for us. Can't beat FREE......EVER ;)

Great that y'all have that open space to populate! Awesome as well that you are getting to know the new material and can play with it rather than trying to figure it out!! Sounds like your pedal is just what you needed, and just in time!!! Hope you have a great gig at Dawson's and looking forward to the vids!!!

WTF, three guitar players and no keyboard players.

I'm going to have to lodge a protest with the International Order Of Overly-Ignored Keyboard Players. ;)
Angela plays keys on one of the songs (so far....we will see what happens is the studio...she may end up putting a few more bars in on keyboard).
