Dear friends,

What a great forum! I was sent here by PRS's Rich Hannon - I thought you might be interested in hearing about my solo album project.

As a little introduction, I play guitar (PRS) with Carl Palmer, Neal Morse and write regular columns for Guitarist and Guitar Techniques magazines.

It brings me enormous pleasure to announce that the time has finally come, after so many years of promising it, for me to release a solo album. I've always felt the instrument we all know and love sounds the best in its purest form - the same philosophy a classical musician might take, which is how the philosophy of the album was born:

Virtuoso classical repertoire performed on electric guitar in its purest form - a PRS, an old amp and LOTS of practice!

The fact that I’ve got this far is thanks to many of you – I’ve been touched by the kind words of guitar enthusiasts, website visitors, colleagues and concert goers from all over the world, encouraging me to put out my own music. The result of all your encouragement is a collection of 19 tracks that I’m really proud of, so THANK YOU for helping me to get this far… but now I need a little more of your help to make this project a reality. The help I need is with making the final push – most of the hard work is done, now all I need to do is fund it.

I’ve decided to start a pre-sale campaign to try to get the money I need to pay for the costs of making the album. Please check out my funding page http://igg.me/at/paulbielatowicz/x/3417256 and consider contributing towards what I feel is a very good cause! ;o)

All pre-sale orders would be VERY much appreciated, and if you could help me spread the word of the album/campaign that would be amazing too!

Thanks so much,

Paul )

Really pleased that we made the target, thanks so much to everyone who helped by pre-ordering. There's still 7 days to go before the pre-sale campaign is over, so if you're interested in being among the first to get a copy then you still have chance.)
